About YCID

YCID was actually create before the name even existed. From the late 90's I was modifying 1/18 scale to create models not made yet or to match a person's real car. Over the years this business model changed names a few times, The Diecast Mall, Custom Diecast Replicas and now YCID. Through it all my mission was to bring models to market that had never been made. Then in 2024 I decided to expand into custom dioramas for collectors to display their models in. This has now led me into releasing dioramas in 1/18, 1/24 and 1/64 scales.
